United Nations Disability Convention
dignity, autonomy, equality, solidarity Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities We welcome the UK signing on 26th February of the Optional Protocol to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, now joining over 80 other states so far signed. And the 3rd march statement
delivered to the House of Commons by Jonathan Shaw, Minister for Disabled
People, announcing that the Parliamentary process for ratification of the UN
