DAN ACTION - BIRMINGHAM - Disability Rights ProtestIndependent living protest.
The DAN action in Birmingham was successful - we were able to leave our demands with the council. 4 police officers turned up at the start and remained with us throughout the afternoon. They didn't try to stop us protesting or leafletting outside both council buildings that we decided to protest at.
DAN action - Monday 14th September.
We meet at 1pm and cannot confirm an exact end time, it should be around
teatime unless anyone is arrested and held for ages. Obviously unless
you are under arrest people are free to leave any time.
